I used the HD Extreme kit from KBcarstuff.com. I have had no issues at all. I got the upgraded phillips bulbs in 4300 temp color. They work great. I went with them because I saw in some instances morimotos were dead out the box or had issues. I did see that retrofit took care of it but did not see anyone have issues with the KBcarstuff sets. I also used a code MOPARHID and got the canbus for free plus $25 off. I am not sure if the code still works but I got a set for my older SUV and used 8thcivic and got $25 off my order.

I have them in since February.

Any issues since you installed them about a year ago?

Thanks

Little update, TRS was more than happy to replace the hardware. So I'll chalk it up to sh*t happens. I also asked about the fog light upgrades available for the 2015+ and they have some nice "made to fit" fog lights I'll think about after we see how the next couple of months go with this kit. Anyone use these.. not to hijack, maybe just a ink if possible.

So fellas, I ordered a xenondepot 4300k phillips set for the wife's 15 yukon slt before I discovered this forum and thread. I did not opt for the canbus since it was my understanding that the drls are independent from the headlight power. Will I be alright with just the wiring harness?

So, after a few weeks of constant failures with the Opt7 HID kit, I went and got the Xenon Depot kit with the Philips bulbs through KBCarconnection. Installed last weekend, so far, so good...everything worked out of the box and no issues yet (crossing my fingers for long term reliability). The only thing I have noticed is that they do not shut off at same time, the driver's side shuts off and then a moment later the passenger side shuts off...not a big deal, just never noticed the Opt7 (when they both worked!) do that...also, the color is different, being 4300s, so my led fog lights no longer match, but again, I'm over it. Just want reliable, bright headlights...

Week 1 report - all is well! Lights come on every time, no flicker, no fuss...hopefully it lasts long time. Xenon Depot kit with Philips bulbs, through KBCarConnection (with free CANBUS kit), works great. If anything changes I'll report back.
