Which adapter are you using? I don't really want to get a new case and an adapter for use in the car would be perfect. Right now I'm plugging in to charge but would rather not have to deal with the wire if possible.

Most say it does, I just ordered the Qi charging adapter for my phone so I don't know yet. Will update when I do!

If a receiver is added to a compatible phone is that all that is needed for it to work in the truck?

Provided it is a phone that can support Qi, yes. Most of the newer phones do, some of them have the receiver built in.

But that Ebay listing will take care of you.

Check the brand though. It might be a great deal but there is some serious Chinese junk out there. The amazon reviews are all over the place. People complaining of serious overheating, bulging cases, bad fit, slow charge, not working, etc.
