Ok dangit now I am just bumping my own thread...sorry for the crappy picture. Pickup is late Thursday, wheels go on Friday.
Tires ordered today, went back and forth on the order. Hope I made the right call with the 285/50/R22. That's a big freaking tire, I would bet I have to do a touch of trimming even with the level kit unfortuantely. Fingers crossed. About $30 more than the 305/45R22 but I just didn't want them coming out past the fender much, if at all and it gives me more sidewall which is what I wanted.
But they are half way here and the guy is like this is an E 10-Ply rated tire you know that right? I guess I should have - never realized. Hopefully the weight of the vehicle, drop the PSI and the mag ride smooths out that ride. I have 10ply 285 tires on my Tahoe now and think they are fine but they have always been on there so I don't know what it is like to not have them. Certainly don't tow anything to warrant them but I am on jobsites a bunch and I suppose that is why I have never had a flat or sidewall puncture. I am quite positive the 6.2 will handle them without loosing too much.
