My plan was to order the Q7M, and buy a set of chrome 20" that came with the original 15'.
That's how it sits now, with the winter wheels here before the truck.
I'm just tossing ideas because I have had plenty of time to do that... Like almost 9 months worth....

I'm now thinking with the champagne color, the muted Q7M am actually look better than full on chrome.

The 20" chrome originals are selling fast on ebay. Great minds must think alike.

I picked up a set of 20" OEM chrome/tire take offs for $1,690 delivered. There were cheaper sets of OEM 18", but I don't want to look at them for the entire winter.

The chrome 20" used to be standard, now they are a $700.00 option.

George,

I agree. I think the Q7M wheel would give the champagne metallic a hint of more modern design with their more contemporary, muted finish.

I'm having the chrome door handles and mirror caps installed, so full chrome wheels may be chrome overload. Should look good with the Q7M. We'll see when I get it.
It seems GM is trying to steer styling away from chrome. I'm surprised the Denali didn't go to a brushed finished grille like the escalade. Chrome wheels definitely don't match the grille or any other shiny part on the 15' Escalade.

I've been watching eBay for them for the past month. I was about to settle on a set of 18" because the guys who had them were asking over 2k delivered. But at the courtesy of GM, I had more time than I care to talk about to wait it out.

When I saw this set, I bought immediately. They had a tire choice of Goodyear or Contis.
I would keep watching and be patient. More will come.

Julian, did you change your wheels?
