I’m in a pickle. My dash vets will not work. The buttons on the dash will let me choose both dash and feet vents, and just feet vents, BUT not just the dash ones. Everytime I choose just the dash settings it goes to both feet and dash. I looked on my driver side under the dash and I see the door mode actuator spinning everytime I choose a different setting for the air to blow. I was recommended to restart my HVAC system but I don’t know which fuse or fuses to pull. By chance, If I end up pulling the fuses and still face the same problem, what are your thoughts it could be?

Pics of the truck, please.

It sounds like a blend door issue, and you truck has a few of them. If you have or have access to a quality bi-directional scanner, you could identify which blend door is causing the issue. Also, with the scanner, you could re-calibrate it, in the event that it just lost its calibration, and is still operational. Otherwise, the blend door may need to be replaced.

@swathdiver may be able to give you some more precise advice on your issue.

If you have an IPhone and an OBDII adapter you can pull the internal codes on an app for your phone and the car will tell you what's wrong. Otherwise, we're guessing.

Could be the computer behind the buttons on the dash, could be the mode actuator that you saw moving, could be the door(s) is broken that the mode actuator opens and closes.
