I have a 2016 like I said my friend has a 2015. Both our vehicles are fine. Bare in mind that neither of us has driven on the original tires yet as we are required by law to use winter tires so I installed 20" winters on alternate rims from a previously owned Suburban . Maybe this summer when we put the original summer tires on that came with the vehicle we might have issues. Will let you know in a few weeks

Picked it up..... pretty upset there are smudges and black grease marks all over the interior. I'm super **** about keeping my car clean.

The shaking, vibration and sound of being in a helicopter still exists. So.... I don't see any difference. At all.

And why can't my daughter charge her iPod and play on it without the sound coming thru the vehicle and me constantly having to push the radio button. Beyond aggravated. Icing on the cake is the rear window motor is now screaming when I raise and lower the window!

On the iPod charging, no way to prevent Apple Car Play from taking over if an Apple device is plugged into USB. Get cig lighter adapter or use 115 port and it won't happen. I know its annoying. Not complaining though because Apple Car Play maps linked to phone is much better than built-in Onstar maps and better than any garmin... assuming unlimited data plan or high data cap. The built-in Onstar maps look like 15 yr old Garmin tech to me. I was surprised to see that in a 2016 vehicle.

What's amazing is that the service dept keeps telling you "It's fixed, Come pick it up!" And every time it's as bad as when you dropped it off. Are they hoping you'll get tired of the back and forth and just give up?

Absolutely. And when I picked it up today.... for me it was the last straw. They have replaced 5 tires now and I asked them to put a new set of Michelins on it. Here's the answer I got back - "Mr. Jarrett we can do the tires on a dealer level. GM will not pay for the tires but we are willing to split the cost with you. It's $259 per tire, so you will owe about $500. Here's the thing Mr. Jarrett, if we replace the tires we aren't willing to continue to try and resolve the vibration issue. GM won't allow us to continue to work on the vibration if we put a different brand on the car."

They tried to trap me! Trick me... and I said NO. I'm sending the letter Monday giving them notice of one final chance to fix it.

Wow, unreal...but not surprising given everything I've heard and read and dealt with myself.

You could go to independent tire shop and then send letter to GM with bill and make it clear you are done with GM if they are unwilling to cover. I've heard some being successful with this process.

Reading these stories push me not to waste time even considering a 17.

No. The vehicle needs to be repurchased. No $70k vehicle should have these kinds of ridiculous issues, let alone come with this kind of ridiculous service. GM should be bending over backwards for a customer who purchases a halo product like a Denali.

Correct. The exact reason why I went with a '12 in December.

I agree and why I'm holding out for a real fix (re buffeting) or will most likely unload for 18 expedition.

I had a feeling like my 16 Tahoe fought with itself at highway speeds. Tires seemed noisy. I have Michelin ltx ms.
I had the tires aligned several times. Finally rebalanced the tires. Road force and changed the rack and pinion. Realigned tires. Thing rides great now

I've made the decision to send the certified letter to GMC on Monday informing them they have one final attempt to resolve the vibrations. I love this vehicle but I simply cannot live with the shaking.

I wish they would offer to buy it back rather than forcing me to go down the lemon law path.
