The DIC in my 2009 Tahoe displays total gallons of fuel used since it was last reset. This comes in handy on long trips because the fuel gauge is inaccurate.
My wife has a 2016 Tahoe and for the life of me I can't figure out how to display gallons used. Looked in the book and it's not mentioned. Her fuel gauge is also off and will show 50 miles remaining when it runs dry. Does anybody know if there is a way to display gallons used?
OR, with all this fancy computerized wizardry, it would seem like a simple process to actually calibrate the fuel gauge. Any thoughts on that? Thanks!
