Any updates with a solution to the flutter noise?my 2017 Denali is at the dealer for the 3rd time. They have replaced my exhaust and fuel feed line. Neither fix stopped the noise. It’s been at the dealership for a week and they called yesterday and said GM gave them a very lengthy list of things to check.

I’d be interested to hear if the dealership was ever able to provide any improvement or resolution to your flutter noise. Any additional details would be appreciated.

Guys the sound has been really quiet during the colder months. Hasn't bothered me much since we hit 10 Degrees Celsius and below. Like others have said I really don't think GM has a fix for this. Even the replacement rental Yukon I had while mine was in the shop experienced the same problem. Guess we're just going to have to wait.

Well... my dealership has been wstill no resolution. The last time they had my car for 2weeks checking things, but GM would not allow them to fix anything because they already replaced my exhaust.
When leaving the dealership I was pretty much told “gm says it’s normal” but the service manager seems to agree with me... it should not be normal, or tolerated.
I was told I could take it to a muffler shop and have the passive exhaust valve cut out, and weld back together, or by an aftermarket exhaust to put in. I do not feel it’s my responsibility to do any of that when they will not confirm that that is causing the noise.
My Denali is going back to the dealership next week for the 4th time, but this time they are having an Engineer from GM come to the dealership to work on it. So... I will update again when I get it back...

Same here. The noise has completely disappeared during the colder months. I have heard it come back on warmer days, though. I think this is more related to the engine than exhaust, perhaps affected by the richer fuel mixture when it’s cold.

Picked up a 2017 Denali just over a month ago, been hearing a "fluttering"/rattling type sound when accelerating. I'd say it usually happens at about 1500-1700 RPM... occurs when you're asking for a little more speed and usually stops when at cruising speed.

Dealer said it's the sound of some exhaust valve with the purpose of keeping the muffler quiet... is this normal? Seems too loud to be normal. Video attached.

I have the same problem my 2016 Yukon Denali XL it all started when the dealer had to replace a fuel injector and FYI I got rid of that exhaust valve because I put a magnaflow muffler and I still have the noise that you just had right there so I don't believe it to be that exhaust valve I don't even have one and I have that noise I believe it to be an exhaust leak

HAS ANYONE FOUND A SOLUTION TO THIS NOISE YET?!? 2017 Tahoe with the EXACT same issues. And I rented one that had the noise as well! Took it to dealer and they pretended they couldn’t hear anything....

PIP5570A. Print, bring it to your dealer and ask them to replace the seal. I’m having them replace mine for the same noise next week, will update with results. I added some dielectric grease and a large zip tie per the thread linked below and it quieted the noise down a lot. Hoping new seal kills it completely.
