Will being near the vehicle allow the key to still work or must you remove them from the bag?
They can keep it, I’ll be at the dealer the next day with an insurance check. I would never want a stolen vehicle back.
My neighbors had a new F250 stolen out of their driveway (keys were in it ), they searched for days and weeks looking for it. Ended up found several states away in a theft ring bust. It wasn’t even close to the same condition it was stolen. They were sad they didn’t get it back.

You should order a tracking device from spy shops and put it on your truck independently. You could get one and if something happens you could activate it and start tracking if something happens or you could pay the service monthly and it will allot you if your car moves.Out of curiosity where do you live?
I will be living in hotels up and down I-95 for the next 5 weeks so will be keeping a close eye on my Hoe during the overnight hours.
