we were initially shopping for a suburban for my wife but ended up with a second tahoe. it is her daily, 2 kids, no towing or usual need for the bigger cargo area. We settled on the tahoe due to the fact that she felt more comfortable parking and navigating the shorter wheelbase. we make one or two trips from Delaware to Virginia and while the cargo area fills quite quick, it is sufficient for our needs.
the 2019/2020 is pretty much the same. just find something that has the options you want. Ours is a LT, does not have the extra bells and whistles. I did not need cooled seats, blind spot beeping, or push button start.. it is less optioned than my 2008 LT, but has been a great upgrade
