2019 Chevy Tahoe Interior Quarter Panel Removal

Hello, New member here, but have read many threads in the past with a lot of help.
I had a container of oil spill in the rear cargo area of my 2019 Chevy Tahoe LT.
I have removed the 3rd row seat, removed all the carpet, but need to clean under and behind the interior rear quarter panels, additionally I think they will need to be out to install new carpet since it seems to wrap behind them somewhat.
I'm not sure how to remove the tie down anchors in the side panel, no visible screw or bolt to remove.
I imagine after removing those the quarter panel should just snap off retainer clips?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is a black plastic cap over the bolt,it must be popped off to access the bolt ,which is torqued to 15 lb/ft.

Thanks! I was able pop off the plastic and now have access to the bolt!

I also recently had this happen and the oil gets EVERYWHERE! My question is, did you end up replacing the carpet? If so, where did you get it from?

Carpet was trashed.
Since it was covered under my comprehensive insurance policy with a $500 deductible, I just took it to the dealer and they ordered the carpet, replaced passenger side interior quarter panel, the passenger side third row seat cover that had oil soaked into the seat cushion, the seat belt that had oil soaked into it also as well as the rear storage compartment in the floor.
I had most of oil cleaned up before I took it in thinking that I was not going to file a claim and replace just the carpet myself. The dealer can look up the rear carpet for you to be sure it is the correct one for the manufacture date etc. Carpet was like $350, but if it got everywhere like mine did, with all the other stuff, I just went with the insurance claim process. All told it was $2500 and I paid $500 of that. Valuable lesson learned, no more transporting Oil or Gasoline without being really careful.

Thanks! I spent most the weekend removing all the rear parts to clean and need the rear cargo carpet and maybe the 3rd row carpet…the rest was able to clean up pretty well..mine was sitting on an incline pointed up so not as much went very far forward!

How do you get the panel itself off? Do the upper panels by the windows need to come off 1st? I have what sounds like a bolt rolling around behind my panel. Diagrams make it look like the lower panel slides up under the window panels. Any screws holding it on or just clips? Pull straight out or up? I'll take any tips. THanks,
