I'm using some Hylux 35w ballasts with some crappy Amazon HID 6000k bulbs, but they came with the small harness that I needed to get through the headlight housing's cap (I did not have HID from factory). I wanted to make sure everything would work as I wanted compared to the LEDs I used to have in there. Everything works, and even these crappy bulbs are better than the LED so I'm on the hunt for some "relatively" budget friendly bulbs to put in there. Any advice is welcome! You wasted no time installing these! Glad to see everything showed up quickly and as expected.
They turned out great! The additional width of the fog light beam pattern is very impressive and offers a huge amount of increased usable light. They're super bright, they look so white that they make your low beams look blue.
The Diode Dynamics SS3 MAX are probably the brightest and widest LED fog lights out there. This vehicle specific kit makes them able to be installed in a very clean OEM+ way. Which is way better than them looking like some bolted add on to the front bumper.
What type of bulbs are you running in your factory low beam projectors?
What are you using to allow your fogs to stay on with your high beams?
