Hi All,
Had my 2020 Yukon SLT 5.3 to the dealer last month for two rear brake calipers at 55k miles (they were creaking a low speeds). Afterwards truck stopped somewhat better but did feel like rear brakes were grabbing tighter than front (as if back brakes bleed and not front)... Now the same dealer is telling me at 58K miles (only three thousand miles later) that the rear pads are 3mm and front are 5mm. Does this sound right? Not sure if it's common for these trucks to have rear pads wear out before front? I did tow a boat 1250 miles a few months before so not sure if that caused the issue... Wanted to get guys thoughts?
