Hey guys, I made this video because I wasn't able to find much on replacing the crap filament bulbs. I ordered and tried a multitude of LEDs, this is what I found to be the best and cleanest. Hope this video helps cut down on your research and install time.

I found the LED tail lights to be too bright. People were often flashing their bright lights at me or otherwise trying to get around me. I went back to the factory incandescent bulbs.

………uhhhh what. Specify what bulbs (break or blinker) and what brand and lumens that was causing people to flash their lights from the rear. Driving normally caused this??

I find many of the LED lights too bright as well, whether they be brake, blinker, or headlights. I don't flash my lights at them because I know they have no control over them.

I would advise mounting the resistors on the body behind the housing, eventually they will melt the wiring, will take some time but eventually it will.
speaking from experience.

Floated the break resistor. Spent 1.5 hrs in bumper to bumper traffic. No melting… so far.

Takes time, it's not going to melt right away, might take a year. it was just a suggestion take it or leave it. I didn't think mine we're getting hot either but found out otherwise later on down the road
I’m taking it for sure. Thank you.
