I found the LED tail lights to be too bright. People were often flashing their bright lights at me or otherwise trying to get around me. I went back to the factory incandescent bulbs.Hey guys, I made this video because I wasn't able to find much on replacing the crap filament bulbs. I ordered and tried a multitude of LEDs, this is what I found to be the best and cleanest. Hope this video helps cut down on your research and install time.
………uhhhh what. Specify what bulbs (break or blinker) and what brand and lumens that was causing people to flash their lights from the rear. Driving normally caused this??I found the LED tail lights to be too bright. People were often flashing their bright lights at me or otherwise trying to get around me. load resistorHello,
Can you tell me where you finally bought these light?
Thank you,
Takes time, it's not going to melt right away, might take a year. it was just a suggestion take it or leave it. I didn't think mine we're getting hot either but found out otherwise later on down the roadView attachment 407855
Floated the break resistor. Spent 1.5 hrs in bumper to bumper traffic. No melting… so far.
I would advise mounting the resistors on the body behind the housing, eventually they will melt the wiring, will take some time but eventually it will.
