Hello! Hoping for some help with an issue that has popped up on my 2021 Tahoe! I blew a tire on the interstate on Tuesday. I was able to get pulled right over, put spare on, and finish my trip! I drove the car about 200 miles home very cautiously with no issues, parked it on Tuesday evening, called the shop with tire size on Wednesday, and took it in Thursday morning for the new tire. The car sat from Tuesday night until I drove it to the shop for the new tire. When I parked it on Tuesday it was making no noise at all. When I drove it Thursday morning the rear end was making a noise in the rear end only while turning. No noise while driving straight at all. I would describe the noise as humming sound. The shop put my new tire on and it's still making the noise, which they noticed right away when pulling it out, and are going to look further into the issue, but don't have the time to do it today. I am just hoping to get some feedback from anyone else if they have experienced something similar.

Interesting. I thought these differentials were GovLoc type non-slip setups. How worn are your other tires? Might have been a good idea to buy two for the same axle?

The tires are virtually brand new. I think they have maybe 10,000 miles on them and they're 70,000 mile pirellis so I only replaced the one that blew.

For grins and giggles put the tires with the same wear on that rear axle. Move that new one to the front. Make sure the lug nuts are torqued properly.

What noise exactly, this is bit vague. Did they put the spare tire back in? My first guess is if not the thing that holds the spare in place was left loose and is just swinging around.
