Wow, huge congrats and thanks for all the pictures! That interior looks amazing. And the light package with "GMC" beamed onto the ground...that alone is worth the upgrade, lol.

Holy cow! Sticker price blows my mind! But I bet it’s worth every penny! Lol beautiful truck. Interesting to note that the 22” wheel setup got a change up in tire size. Narrower but taller tire.no doubt taller sidewalks help with ride quality. That lighting package is badass for sure! Thanks for sharing the new whip with us!

Finally got my hands on one of these and in my driveway! There is lots of misinformation out there when calling around dealerships... but for the record these are definitely beginning to hit dealer lots. The larger dealers will likely have more inside scoop and designated allotments from the manufacturer. Be prepared to pay sticker. I've communicated with tons of dealers across the nation to get a feel for what expected pricing was going to be, all but one would not budge off MSRP. And we currently have absolutely no leverage to really negotiate because you can't really threaten with shopping the next dealer down the highway because there were only a few in all of Dallas. I had to drive to Houston to find this one with everything I wanted. Alot of these are arriving on lots pre-purchased. I lost out on a couple of other deals because they were being snatched up a day or 2 after arriving and I was dragging my feet.

She's fully loaded with the Denali Premium Package, Rear Seat Screens, Max Trailering, and the Illumination Package. Window sticker attached. There are currently ZERO factory incentives on this thing either with rebates or financing. I was able to get a really great rate however through GMC Financial but it was not due to any official promotion. Dealers are allowing test drives on these so try and search Cars.com for something close and go check it out. Be aware, 80-90% of the listings on Cars.com are either still being built or in transit. You will have to contact dealers to actually get an idea of whats on the lot.

Car looks amazing in person, GMC hit the styling spot on with this one. Interior is a huge step up from previous. Truck rides like a dream with the new IRS. Tons of space inside with pretty solid fit and finish. The 6.2 pulls like a freight train of course. The drive back from Houston to Dallas (aprx 300 miles) chewed through 3/4 of a tank. Premium gas only is recommended. MPG was pretty disappointing at around 15 mpg. We were booking it back home at a pretty good rate of speed so the heavy right foot definitely attributed. Overall couldn't be happier with the purchase so far. More updates/pics to come.

I know info is really limited on these so ask any questions!

Fantastic looking truck, congrats! I am looking at a similar build, but can't bring myself to pay MSRP for a vehicle. I will likely wait until fall for some incentives and/or when supply catches up with demand. My biggest concern is GM shutting down Arlington again due to the current COVID surge in Texas. That would result in very limited supply and everyone will be paying MSRP (or more) for awhile.

What rate did GM Financial offer you with no current incentives if you don't mind me asking?

I do think you're the first on here with one, congrats. The gas mileage will probably improve as the motor loosens up. Let us know how it runs at the drag strip!

Nice truck for sure. The 2021 GMC Denali is by far the best looking of the 2021+ GMC/Chevrolet/Cadillac full-size SUV variants. It is interesting to see the change in tire size. Also related to that; These new 2021+ make 22" rims look even smaller! Maybe it's the tad bit taller sidewall playing tricks on me but they just look incredibly small on that truck.

Seeing your real world pics of the interior really makes it look better than any previous website stock photos I've seen.

Did you have a previous generation GMC Denali by chance? How would you compare the ride to this one with the IRS?

Thanks for sharing all the photos!

Good luck with her

how’s the ride. Power?

The first thing I noticed on this is how tall the tires/wheel are! Something about it just has the truck sitting higher than it looks in pics and compared to current gen. Probably a combination of the tire size and the rake given by the IRS. My first GMC vehicle. Can only really compare it to a few other suv's i've owned/driven extensively in the past. A 2002 tahoe, 2017 Mercedes GLE, and 2016 Grand Cherokee. The ride is so much softer and smoother than any of those, even the Mercedes. Not body on frame but even it's comfort mode it doesnt compare to the Denali. You can def feel the magnetic shocks doing their job. Smoothest ride I've ever been in.

The power is very adequate, I will say you can feel torque of the 6.2 really move the heft of the vehicle along very well. I had a 2002 tahoe with the 5.3 vortech and always thought that truck was quick for its size... i'd say the 6.2 in the heavier 2021 is just a tad bit quicker. I am a bit spoiled since my daily driver is also a modded 5.7 hemi Challenger R/T with similar HP/Torque as the 6.2 so my butt meter needs to be re-calibrated for the different experience. I think for most ppl however the 6.2 will be one of the most powerful things they've ever experienced and will be more than sufficient.

wow thanks for the photos it looks awesome.
that rear emblem downlight!!

order these and measure them for me before installing: (thx)

I'm starting to love the semi-snub nose look of these 2021. they are thicc

Thats funny, she came with all weather floor mats option which i really didnt need/want, but I'm kinda liking them now and that liner would match great with it all!

Yea that was the first thing i noticed in person was the massive height of the overall tire/wheel combo. Def a very tall and noticeable setup

Yea the dealer i bought from mentioned fall at the earliest to expect any incentives from the manufacturer. But yes, same concern if the factory shut down again then it'll be delays all over which is one reason i sucked it up and agreed to sticker... which i absolutely NEVER have done in my life and never thought I would!

I normally wouldn't talk financials but I guess it might be helpful for you and others on what the offered rates are looking like in this unique economic time:

Selling Price: 79k
Total after TTL: ~86k
Down Payment: 35k
Amount Financed: 51k
Loan Terms: 2.69% for 72 months (w/ 800+ credit score)
Monthly Payment: ~$760/month

GM Financial seems to be offering very favorable rates. I was pitting 2 dealers against each other, none would budge on MSRP however they were countering each other on what they could get me on financing. The other dealer actually got me down to 2.29% at 72 months however the vehicle was short a few options so I passed. The down payment may have contributed to the loan being a highly equity positive deal for the bank along with a lowered amount financed so that may have helped knock the APR down some. The first rate quoted to me was 3.89% at 72... I even asked the finance guy what his buy rate was and he told me 3.69% which was total BS. So in a few hours worth of counter offerings and waiting for replies APR went from 3.89% to a potential 2.29% which is huge over the length of the loan. All in all, with rates for borrowing from the government being at all time lows, it seems like GM Financial is being pretty competitive during this economic time to get cash rolling in with pretty fair APR rates.
