2022 denali reserve package

Seems to have went live on the build website .... looks to be the premium package / adv tech package / max trailer / air ride. Basically everything except RSE? Cost savings of $250 compared to doing the other 3 packages seperately if I have this correct.

Am I missing any other differences?

That’s exactly what it is - Ultimate without the RSE. Maybe because RSE is not available for the foreseeable future, they decided to introduce it. Instead of people having to order the Premium package plus Premium Capability package (which is what I did) to get to the same place effectively…

I noticed that the front and rear park assist shows up as a deleted option even with the Reserve package now. Anyone know if this means the dealer will just have to add it later? Seems like a ripoff to remove an option that’s been pretty standard for a solid decade and offer a $50 credit on an $80K premium SUV.

so they did away with the ultimate package and now this is the top tier package?

For the short term it seems this will be top tier package. Mainly due to the Rear Seat Entertainment system being on contraint for the rest of this production year from what the reports have stated.

Agreed. But this would be quite the option for a dealer to add after the fact. Would the sensors be installed in the bumpers, just not activated? Would the bumpers even have the pre-cut holes for the sensors to go into? Depending on the answers to these questions adding this type of feature after the fact would be very expensive and involved quite a bit of labor. Plus; There are some GMC/Chevrolet dealerships that only have a service department and not a body shop.

With the list of options and features becoming no longer available due to supply chain issues GM should just move towards an a la carte option system. Instead of creating "new" option groups to dance around items that simply aren't available.

That is what I am thinking for my order, but...23's will have the same supply issues. This is probably not going to be resolved for 12-18 months, and that is being optimistic.
