I’m having the same issue, and I went to the dealership to asked them why my car did not have the navigation on the back nor the apps. After three hours they finally told me the 2022 Yukon doesn’t come with the apps, navigation not the ubs c plug and play like the 2021 because they had a lot of problems. Maybe in the next year or so they will have an update.

My problem with their response is, if you watch the video in the original post (2:51 mark), it clearly shows Hulu & Youtube apps in a 2022. How/where/why did they get there???

My beef with the whole situation is the owners manual shows a picture on page 161 that has apps and hdmi. No apps, and dealer or GM customer service don't care and have no clue. GM should have reduced the price of the rse option to match what we got. Which are basically useless screens. Instead of $1995 options, should have been $500 max. LG screens that they are, aren't worth the advertised price. Seems to be very misleading, and deceptive to consumers. 20211103_090045.jpg

I could not agree more, I feel like we have been totally fooled as customers. There has to be answer to this, especially since we can see the apps in the video.

Same issue here. I picked up my new 2022 Suburban last night and was unpleasantly surprised by the RES changes that were not mentioned by my salesperson. Especially, since I traded a 2021 Tahoe, specifically for the updated tech and rear screens (and the extra room). It blows my mind how little information the dealerships (and GM) have about this issue. I've heard that some 2022s are rolling off the assembly line without wireless charging due to the chip shortage. Is that the issue here? Some have it, some don't? At least those customers are getting a $75 discount for the missing feature.

This is very alarming that they just aren't mentioning this. So you're saying no navigation either w/ the rear media?
Everything is gone except HDMI as a source. USB video and music, Miracast, and navigation all gone from the backseat. The whole App thing is new (and a welcomed addition), but none of us seem to have it.

I’m just pissed about the fact that I’ve hardly owned my Denali for 9 months from brand new and they’ve already changed the OS on the infotainment system and changed the dials to digital ones…what a bummer seeing that these new trucks r only a year old. At least let the new truck owners bask in the newness of their trucks for 2 years before crushing our dreams!!

The 22’s are finally viewable on the GMC website. They removed the navigation features and added wifi wireless projection, whatever that is…

I think wifi wireless projection means like screen mirroring like on tv’s?
