2022 SLT Yukon not shutting down when power off

Just today, My 2022 Yukon SLT will not shut down completely when I shut off the car and leave the vehicle. The radio continues until I lock the car, and the dash says "GMC" with my mileage. I'm worried about running down the battery before I can take it in.

What does the manual say? Did you lock it and then go back out in 5 or 10 minutes to recheck the dash?

Ours has done this a couple times and it seems to eventually shut itself off after letting it sit

Do you have a pending OTA update? I believe the infotainment/cluster will stay on longer when an update is queued.

Double check that you have a firm foot on the brake when you hit the "off" button. I have seen my 2022 Denali stay "on" a couple of times but when I put my foot on the brake and tried again it did shut down.
