Did anyone get an 2022 Tahoe RST where the RST on the back is black like it is when you build on the website?

I hope mine comes in black, but I wasn't sure if it was a specific package that you had to order to get it to come that way or if the website is incorrect.

I just got off the phone with GM (1-800-222-1020), I was told that my vehicle has finally been accepted by GM and has a target production week of 6/27/22. My 2022 Tahoe RST w/sport performance package, premium package, 2nd row buckets, sunroof, and sliding console was ordered 10/8/21.

I have the exact same build order on 12/5/21. Only difference is the color. I went with the cherry Red (allowed the kids to choose the color). 2nd choice was definitely the Satin Steel. I regret not asking the dealer allocation questions. I received an order number the ext day but naturally GM have not accepted the order yet. Hopefully we are not waiting for a long time. I have a feeling ordering the Sport Package may hold this order up. I see this Sport Package constantly on the GM constraint list SMH. I really hope to have this vehicle by mid April. Trying to be as reasonable as possible.

Any word on your build?

Did they give you a build date yet? I just put my order in for the same thing (different color) and they are telling me it will be at least January until it is built.

It’s 4/12/22 and it is still in the “submitted but not accepted by GM” phase after 6 months

Same. I ordered in December. I have a bad feeling that it won’t get accepted, and will be rolled over to 2023 model, which would be built at the earliest in September. I’ve heard that if GM doesn’t officially accept the order by the end of this month, then it’s not going to get built. Very disappointed.

Speaking with my dealer, the 6.2 is prioritized for the escalades / Denali then tahoe high country. So that could be why it's taking a while for your build.

And I finally received this after emailing my dealer that GM Chat had informed me that it was finally “accepted by GM, but that no TPW had been picked yet”. That will be 7 months and 8 days since I ordered it on 10/8/21, the first week orders were accepted.
