2022 Yukon Denali 6.2: beat my all-time high MPG!

It was sitting cold at the time. Typically run around 38-39 warm. They could use a couple more psi. Door sticker calls for 36psi cold.

Are you running the original tires? If not then the door sticker no longer applies. Different tires run at different PSI. I don't think any of my current vehicles run less then 40psi.

wow, i think i am averaging 15.9 mpg and i drive like a grandma (just me, 38 psi warm), I'm not sure i have even had it over 3k rpm. If i see 19 mpg on my 15 mile trip to work i am jumping up and down.

Depending on the vehicle it is typically 35 psi. On my 16 canyon it is stated for 35 psi cold, and i have yet to put air in the tires as they are typically between 36 to 38 cold (34 during super cold winter temps) when warm the run around 40-41 psi when hot.

Wrong: Recommended tire pressure for stock sized tires of same load rating gets the door placard PSI. Engineers determined best inflation for tires of recommended size and load rating.
The "Max PSI" on the side wall of the tire is just that, the max cold pressure the tire is engineerd to handle.

Now, if you change tire sizes/wheels/etc, then yes, correct.

Sorry, guess I should have been a little more clear. If the tire is the exact same size, manufacturer (Michelin are known to run a little more psi) and load rating as OEM then chances are psi is similar. Even the slightest change can have a huge variance in psi though. You run 275/50 22's and say it recommends 36psi while I'm running 285/45 22's which isn't a huge difference and it says 50psi.

Yes- only premium in my vehicle. Also I should have added that right at the time of picking up my Yukon I had the stock Bridgestones switched out for Michelin Defenders LTX’s.
