2022 Yukon Denali All-Terrain Tires (stock P275/50R22)

I don't notice any difference at all to the handling of the vehicle on dry pavement. Maybe a hair more road noise, but my wife hasn't mentioned a thing and she's the kind that would. We're about to take a 2,000 mile road trip from Denver to Phoenix, Sedona, Grand Canyon and then finishing up in Durango and skiing in Purgatory. I have great confidence in these tires in the snow so far. They are like velcro. I was able to get Discount Tire to match some sketchy website called tires-easy.com, so $382 each or so. It wasn't cheap, but neither is body work from sliding off the road! Oh, no air suspension, just the regular springs with magnetic ride control.

For those of you that changed tire size, did you need to have speedometer recalibrated? I’ve had a 2022 Suburban RST for 3 weeks and had a rock ruin a factory 22” tire with less than 3000 miles on it. I drive quite a bit of gravel and obviously need more durable tires.

By the way, I'm too new around here to make a posting, but if anyone wants some lightly used OEM tires - I believe 8/32s left, I have 4. I'm in colorado.
The 305/45/22's are 32.8" tall - the exact height of the factory rubber, so no recalibration necessary.

I’m going with Toyo AT3 in 285/50/22 tomorrow-10 ply load range E vs 4 ply stock tires.

I had toyo 305/45/22’s installed on the factory wheels at our local discount tire. Its hit or miss i guess. Yet they wouldnt put 12.5 wides on my oem truck wheels or jeep wheels, so yea they do play the game…

Those are within spec for the factory wheels. Most 305’s are not.

Unless I am reading wrong, Toyo spec calls for 9.5” - 11.5” wheel width. Stock wheels and GM accessory wheels are 9”. This also what my Discount Tire used to deny install.

Yes, that is exactly what i said. The 305’s are too wide (by manufacturers specs, anyway) for the 9” oem wheels. They fit perfectly and you wont have any issues at all whatsoever, but no, they are not within spec.

The guy who i quoted is getting 285’s…not 305’s. His are within spec.

The discount tire to the east of me (which is a very new location for them) mounted the 305’s up no questions asked on my wifes high country. Had i gone to the discount tire to the south of me (where i normally go), they more than likely would not have installed them for me. They have dicked me in the past many of times on that…which i understand.
