A thought to consider on the 6.2 bs Duramax, what is your climate? I’m in MN and ultimately decided on the gasser, with the reason that my commute to work is 5 miles. I just couldn’t imagine a 5 mile one way trip, then a cold soak all day at -10 (in January), then a 5 mile trip home. And doing that 3 months a year. If I lived somewhere more temperate, it would have been the baby Duramax.
