Does this keep power on at all times when the vehicle is on? I ask because i tapped the fuse panel in my 2021 Tahoe per a fuse mentioned in another thread and it stays on except when the door is open.. and while that may sound trivial, i have the ****** with the M1 dash cam which draws power from the same source and had an incident where the cam footage would have been useful when I opened my door.

I usually use mirror tap solutions but these guys make a slick harness. Got one for our Camaro also.

As your sitting in the vehicle. Connector is lower left. Hardest part is getting plastic to go back on with the additional cable

The harness is keyed power. So no dead batteries.

The trim on my 22 z71 and connector location was different. Worked perfect. And the blend mount is slick.

I installed mine on my 2022 high country this morning. As mentioned above, the hardest part was getting the cover back on. Used the same setup blend mount and gen5 cable as mentioned above.

More info please. Would like to hard wire my Valentine as well. Got lazy and didnt pull (just tucked it) out my old hardwired cable from my M5...so will need to reorder one of those.

you can just hard wire right to the passenger airbag indicator light in the roof console, the wire can go straight up with the mirror harness wire and then just tap into "airbag" light harness, that will provide 12v key on power, do not use the mirror wire harness it does not provide a full 12v it is only 8-10v and that makes the Valentine wig out.

the voltage in the mirror harness could have changed with the 21+, the 15-20's only have 8-10v to the mirror.
