I decided to go ahead with it ... July build.

If SC comes off constraint in the next month I'll jump into another allocation as the dealer has no issue selling my current build to someone else. (white with black interior)

I don't actually care about SC for myself ... it's really more of a resale thing.

Anyhoot, excited about it. :)

White with black good choice, my favorite. What were other interior choices? Brandy and whisper beige? Nothing new for the V....?

Yup, just standard platinum choices, nothing specific to the V

Honestly the more I think about it the more I'm reconsidering purchasing this.

I was so excited to have my dealer's first allocation and now I'm really down on it. It's not that I mind paying the 150, but you better give me a lot more than what you have for that price. The brakes are meh, and if you're going to charge that much do something to make the interior more special than the Platinum.

My Durango Hellcat will smoke this thing both on the straights and around corners. Yes it's not in the same class both size and luxury wise but it also had a $85k msrp. I care a lot more about the dynamics of a performance vehicle than the digital display and it appears that I already have an SUV in my garage that's more fun to drive than the V. And I also have the new full size Range Rover V8 being delivered in July. The plan was to trade it for the V when it came in, now I might just keep it. It 'only' has 530hp but is beautifully designed inside and out and can actually handle something more than a dirt road.

As we all know we live in a crazy world and it's rare for me to be surprised by prices any more ... but in my opinion Cadillac has jumped the shark with their pricing. If we're accepting this price point we're basically accepting $100k Tahoe LTs in a couple of years. It's going to be really interesting to see how the downturn in the financial markets relates to people willing to continue paying g crazy prices for cars.

I haven't decided what to do yet, I might still get it, or I might just get a Tahoe RST and to this shit myself for around $100k.
I am amazed you have a new gen 2023 FFRR with the BMW power plant being delivered this month already when almost no one else can get one the globe. My order is over a year out and will be MY24. Cannot wait to see the photos of that bad boy. That is a whole another level above the GM.

Nice order. Did you ever do any of the vLabs when they had them?
Cadillac has really went backwards in the last couple of years. Dropped a lot of the customer outreach programs. My local dealer is actually less nice than the nearby Chevrolet dealer. I will say that their service division is great, only because of the advisors who have handled my Chevy/GMCs for years.
Went to buy a Cadillac CTS-V back in the day but walked out after some pricing shenanigans.

It’s getting close. But then again I’m not holding my breath that I will get it this month with all the shipping delays from Europe. Hopefully it won’t be much longer.

I don’t know what vlabs is.

My current Blackwing is actually the first Caddy I’ve ever bought new.

I did go to Spring Mountain for the complimentary two day track event.
