2023 Z-71 Tahoe 6.2 arrived …. OE Tires

Hello All-

Picked up my 2023 Tahoe yesterday. I have been waiting a few months, but nothing too dramatic.

It has all options I believe for a z71 other than rear entertainment. Didn’t want those.

I also got the Gideon interior which I really like.

One thing that kind threw a curve ball was the tires. Every Z71 I have ever seen comes with the Goodyear Trail Runner. Mine showed up with the Goodyear Territory AT, but not the Territory AT that shows up on the Goodyear website. It’s kind of like a cross between the Goodyear Adventurer and the Goodyear AT shown on the new Ram TRX. (Must be new for 23??)

So far I love them… I have a set of black wheels and BFG’s sitting to put on and now I’m wondering.

We have had brutal temps and snow/ice they have been amazing so far…

It was -6 last night, and it’s filthy.

First mod was getting the red and chrome badges off.




Next is tint and I guess I will go ahead and swap wheels and tires and run the BFG’s through winter.

I also have ditch/A-pillar lights to install, but the brackets haven’t shown up yet.

The wheels are black AT-4 take offs. I ran them for a short time on my wife’s Denali last winter. I think they will look better on the white Tahoe.

Nice. Love the white. I took my side badges off too. I didn’t think they went well. I bought two small 6.2 badges but have not put them on. Not sure where I want them yet, the pillar behind the passenger door or maybe just one on the tailgate. The all black wheels will look great. Good luck. Looks like same build as mine.

I have black 6.2 badges also, I think I’m going to put one on the lower right of lift gate, and maybe that’s all.

WVBKW……….Just spitballing………Buckley, WV with aviation background or at least interest.?

My 22 Z71 was all Terrain. I still have the OEM with the pizza slices. When the trade I forgot to negotiate the OEM 20’s back in. I am switching my 23 Premier to the Gloss Black multi spoke but keeping the Continental Cross Contacts!

Normally I am Michelin Defender fan, but will get some mileage out of the Continentals then swap.

I was about to say I have the Black Z71 side badges but looks like you beat me to them.

Ok, I did this yesterday. I like it. It warmed up a bit and got a car wash first.
