Knew the 2025’s Infotainment screen’s were larger etc. & looked hard @ a ‘24 Z71 demo a prior GM had for sale but opted to build a ‘25 Z71 Tahoe.

Took delivery of the ‘25 Z two weeks ago & like the larger screen etc. so anyone else yet w/ feedback on this minor interior tweak?

I have the 2025 Yukon and I’ll be honest, the improved screen size is probably 50% of the reason I didn’t take the $5,000 incentive being offered on the 2024 model that was on the lot. I really like a lot of the minor changes in the refresh, but the screen was a big mover for me. Last year friends purchased a Denali XL ultimate and as nice as it is, when I saw it the first time, in my head all I could think about is how the infotainment screen up front was smaller than the ones for the second row entertainment. On my w025 it’s the first thing everyone notices when they get in. I’m a huge fan of it. I know some people say it can be glitchy, the home link can be fussy. I haven’t had any of that. I love how the home link pops up when I’m about 1/4 mile from home.

I just got my new Yukon. I am having a hard time finding how to customize the hud. My 2022 had the option to change what would show. All I can do is change the 3 things given in settings. Have you had any luck?

So far the only thing I have seen that you can customize on the HUD is the position up and down, left to right and brightness. I have noticed that the information displayed will change depending on whether or not navigation is active, and one or two other things that I noticed randomly. However, I have not been able to figure out if it can display information like currently playing info. We have a 2024 lexus and the HUD has like 6 different pages that you can cycle through with a button on the steering wheel. I am not sure we have that capability. I remember getting a Tahoe for a rental years ago. It was when HUD first was a thing in cars, specifically GM cars. I remember thinking back then that it had very limited use and capability. It didn't do anything but display the current speed, time and maybe temp. So, from that iteration to this one it has grown by leaps and bounds, but still leaving us wanting.

So this video is for the Acadia, but the infotainment system and menus are exactly the same as ours. Based on what he goes over in this video my suspicions that you can't adjust the info displayed seem to be correct. I watched one for the 2024 Yukon, where the buttons are to the left of the steering column and in that video he shows you how to cycle through info being displayed on the HUD.
. I think we got downgraded in 2025. I'm not sure we can call that progress.
