Does your RST have air suspension?

What did you use to lower the vehicle?

Any tire rub with the wheel/tire combo you have?

I put factory size tires on my factory wheels and I have a little tire rub if I turn the wheel hard one way or another and I typically only do that if I'm in a tight spot and usually I'm going very slow (on the brakes, most of the time). I posted on here and people said that the tires I bought just have a bit more rubber than the factory brand. Anyway, I was just curious about your setup since you have wider wheels, but the offset also plays a factor into that, as well.
It does have the adaptive air suspension. I used lowering links from edgymods.com. They are extremely easy to install!

I have not noticed any rubbing. I went with the same size tires that come on the 24" wheels from the factory. But since the wheels are slightly wider the tires fit a little different than the would on narrower wheels. I wouldnt worry about the slight rubbing you get at full lock. Like you said, it doesnt happen all the time and its never going to be at highway speeds when it does occur.....if it is, you most likely have a bigger problem on your hand!

I don't know much about tires, I never realized that one tire size could fit slightly wider tires, that's interesting.

People do all kinds of crazy stuff with tires, not always safe, but they do it. Look up tire stretching!! You can also put a much wider tire on a narrower wheel

I have another question, I just found the part number for the tahoe and it says they are the same size as the stock component but change the voltage sent to the computer to allow/control the 2.5 inch drop. I get that part, it is also nice that the OEM parts can be swapped back at any time.

In the pic you sent, is that the car stance in 'normal' ride height mode? If so, can you take a pic of it lowered to the entry/exit setting?

I wish you could set the vehicle to entry/exit and just drive in that mode at all times. Obviously GM doesn't want you doing that which is why the aftermarket parts exist.

Thanks.

So, the end fittings are the same size but the length of the rods is adjustable. All these do is adjust where the air ride sensor arm is in relation to the control arm. So basically it is tricking the truck into thinking it is at normal height even though it is lower.

The pic shows it in entry/exit setting. Normal ride height is a little lower than what entry/exit mode is stock, I think. I took measurements before lowering it but still havent taken the measurements after. Ill try to remember to take the measurements when I get home this evening.

I can tell you that if you set the rod lengths to approximately what he has listed (165mm and 108mm), most times you will have to trick the truck into entry/exit mode. If you pull up, stop and put it in park, it will begin lowering but most of the time before it gets to the correct height it flashes a message saying object detected under the vehicle and will begin raising back up to normal setting. The only trick I have found to get it into entry/exit mode is to select entry/exit mode on the switch about 10 seconds before getting to the final parking spot and pulling in very slowly. You definitely do not want to drive it at the entry/exit mode setting because you will be riding on bumpstops and its very bouncy.

The wheels do look good. The GMT900 and K2XX platform required some higher offsets on both Factory and aftermarket rims and clearly the T1XX '21+ platform are wider and should have a lower offset to avoid the inset/tucked look like you have going on. It's not a good or bad thing, I think maybe more of a preference thing and potentially some impact on the larger OEM 4 piston front brake calipers.

I prefer the look of wheels tucked a little vs flush. I would definitely need spacers if it had the larger brembo brakes but these fit fine over the regular calipers.
