I can't decide on exterior color and not only does it matter from choosing the right color, but inventory also plays a factor. For example, if I went with black, I have more options including local options.

My three color options are

Dark Ash Metallic
Lakeshore Blue Metallic
Black

Here is why I can't decide

Dark Ash Metallic - Looks dark purple when light reflects off of the paint. Nothing against the dark purple color and @tightchevelle69 looks very nice with the dark wheels, I like his color/wheel combo, I don't want to get stuck with a dark purple looking car in the summer months when the sun is out for many hours during the day.

Lakeshore Blue Metallic - I think this color would be my favorite IF it always looked dark blue, under light/sun it has a much lighter blue color that I feel might be too lite. The color in this youtube video looks good to me and I wish it was always this hue, but I've seen this car in many other pictures and videos and in person and I think it fluctuates too much. One day I'm fine with the color and the next day I'm concerned I won't like it after a year or so.

No need to watch the video, the color hue I like is what you see in the thumbnail.

Black - Well, we all know that black looks great when clean, but this black isn't 'Metallic' and I just see it as a flat black/glossy black and I think light scratches could be more noticeable on a black colored vehicle especially w/o it being a Metallic black.

I've looked at pictures of all vehicles with the 24" bright polished GM rims, but some sites only show stock images of these vehicles which is annoying, the stock images don't help at all.

I'm not looking for anyone to convince me one way over another, but I am looking for feedback from anyone that has had these colors or similar. If you don't mind sharing pictures, that would be even better. Going back to the Dark Ash, I've seen some shots where the paint looks dark gray and other where it looks more purple than gray so I know the light plays a factor but could it be that dealer shop lights make the color pop/look more purple than the sun would make it look? I'm probably thinking too much into this, but I also want to be sure that I'm making the right choice.

Ability to match the paint if you have to make a repair to the vehicle is a big factor to me. That's part of the reason I went with black.

There is nothing sharper than a black car if it's kept clean. But as you well know, a big beast like this is hard to keep clean. That's why I have been sticking with the satin steel color. It looks good with black accents and doesn't show dirt nearly as bad. The 25 will be two in a row for me and I still get lots of compliments on how it looks.

Is Sterling Gray Metallic the tahoe version for denali satin steel?

Not a bad color, I've looked at those, but it is lighter than I like. I agree that color with dark accents looks nice.
