I run Nokian tires, and think they are excellent, if a little pricey. But, the things that connect you to the ground are always worth a few more bucks (shoes, tires, mattress...).
Currently I have Nokian Outpost nATs on my Yukon, and they do great in the woods and on muddy logging trails. Their treadwear is also very good for an AT tire. Being 3PMSF rated is also really nice up north, but I also have dedicated studded snow tires for the winter.
Joseph was on the money for the Michelins being a fantastic all-around tire, if you're only going to run one set, year-round.

What about nokian tires?
I saw an auction listing and it had nokian tires. I had on a trailblazer and they are good.
