Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Pics of the truck, please.

I remember the other post on this topic and thinking, that's an odd one-off. Apparently, this is not a one-off. This is a quality control fiasco, since the dual pipe exhaust pieces was a fairly new aesthetic feature addition, and IMO, it looks quite good, when properly assembled.

I believe that the dual pipe tip is a weld on assembly, so it is not a super trivial fix. A dealer could perform this corrective work, if they had the proper experience and incentive to do so. If it were me, I'd probably say f**k the dealer, and I'd take it to a local exhaust system shop and have the corrective job done professionally.

What’s strange is I’m noticing the same thing on my ‘21 Premiere model which has the quad exhaust on the back.

I haven’t noticed it in the past…more of a recent discovery then saw this post.

I had it on my 23 suburban. But on the left side. It was the way the brace was welded onto the body (as I remember it). As long as it didn’t touch the plastic or have any other potential hazard. I just forgot about it.

I clicked on this thread 'cause I thought the exhaust was getting way too hot and it might be interesting to see what's going on.

But after reading through it I fixed the title. ;)

Hi - We had the similar issue on our brand new 23 Denali. When I showed the service writer at the purchasing dealer he said it was in spec so I showed him one finger in-between rear fascia on right side and three fingers on other. He gave up and the tech heated the exhaust and bent it into the correct position. Not sure if hangers were bent, exhaust or both. All warranty. It now is perfectly center on each side.
Just fyi. Dealership should be able to fix. If not call gm warranty line. We've had many warranty issues that the original dealer wouldn't help with. GM actually suggested we stop using GMC and use a Cadillac dealership. They've fixed every warranty issue (radio not working, turn signals not working, seat heater controls, transmission and leaking headliner) and are light years above the GMC dealership in service.
Hope this helps.
