2026 Yukon - ONLY 1 USB Charger in Front Row!?

Hi all. I just took delivery of a 2026 Yukon XL AT4 Ultimate (sick truck). Interestingly, there only appears to be 1 USB C and 1 USB A charger in the first row area. And if you use the new Camera Recording feature you lose the USB A port because a flash drive needs to be there. So this leaves just 1 USB C for the whole front of the truck!? Gone are the charging ports in the center console (and yes a checked every nook and cranny of the center console).

What gives GMC? $100K plus truck and you get one USB port.

Anyone else seeing this?
Is this a build flaw / oversight in my truck?!

No that’s it. If you wanted an extra you would have had to order it in the console, I don’t know if you had to give up the moving center console or if it came standard with the stationary console. Isn’t there an adapter to make the usbc a usb.?
I’m more upset about the loss of the 12v charging port.

Yea. I wonder if you loose the center console plugs with the moving console option. Seems weird they couldn’t find a way to keep them given that’s a big upcharge option.

The issue isn’t the USB C. It’s that there’s only one. I’ve looked online for USB C splitters but they don’t seem to be a thing.

And agree on the loss of the 12v. At least if it had that you could get a USB adapter.

Is your Camera recording feature working? I have a 25 Denali and dont have the icon to activate the Surround View Recorder. Had I know this was not available when all the reasearch I did said the vehicle had it, I would have passed on the vehicle. The car was bought out of state and shipped to me so I didn't have the choice to return it. I hope it can be activated over the air or software update with a dealer visit.

It does work. I’ll take some pictures next time I’m in the car.

It also has a new camera located inside the car, right in front of the sunroof controls. However, there is no way to see the camera view and no options or settings that reference it. It’s also not recorded as part of the surround vision.

You dont have the feature. The 2025s did not ship with the cameras. It was omitted last minute. The 26s have it now. If its optioned with it.

Yes, I agree there should be more charging ports up front. The "charging pad" could compensate, but it won't charge my phone while in its Otterbox case and I am not a CarPlay user. I suppose I could run a cable to the middle row and steal one of those ports, but I should not have to.

FYI.....I have a 2024 Jeep w charging pad. Phone won't charge
( light on) unless I press down on it firmly (case edges) once it "catches" the field seems to stay engaged. Perhaps to avoid disconnect on bumps??

Re tbe charge ports....What do these fools smoke in the equipment Dept?.
