I agree!!!! Mine has never been in a car wash. I power wash it, foam cannon it and go over it with a soft brush. Then out comes the leaf blower to dry it. I have been using a detail wax after every wash but might switch over to Griots Garage 3 in 1 ceramic wax. I just did my Honda Pilot with the 3 in 1 this weekend. Depending on how it holds up I will do the Tahoe. The Youtube durability tests show it as one of the most durable ceramic coatings out there. Super easy on and off and a bottle is 20 bucks. Hell even if it lasts a few months I'll be happy. Just need the coating on there to make it a piece of cake to dry. No power car washes or hand drys for my Tahoe or Corvette LOLNo matter how you coat it, automatic car washes WILL ruin your finish, period. You may not see it the 1st day or week or even year. But by the time you discover it, the damage will be done and it will be all over the vehicle. I realize some people may not have a choice, but I made arrangements with a local detailer to hand wash my vehicle every 2 weeks at a fair fee. This big monster is hard to wash right and will wear you out, but when done right, there is nothing sharper....
