24" rubbing bad in rear.. help

I just got a set of 24" rims, 305/35/24s, the front two rub which isnt anything i can fix but the rear two are rubbing up against my rear shock and on the plastic bad, my right rear tire is wore down where it rubs and the tire loses alot of air from it, my friends have 26s on tahoes, 24 and 26s on sierras and i always see 24s on yukon and no one has the same problem as me, i have a 2004 yukon, and i dont know to much about what options i have availible, can someone please help me out, i dont want to have to lose the 24s and put 22s on

The offset of the wheel might be what is causing the problem. What is the Offset oh and

thanks for the welcome, and im new to this, im more involved with audio rather then knowing what goes on outsidee my truck, i dont know what the offset is? i had stock rims, then a set of 20" rims and now i got the 24's, how do i figure out what the offset is?

offset should be stamped on the back of the face of the rim somewhere. i think if the offset is too high you can just use a spacer, just have to make sure your studs still long enough to hold the wheel on. a skinnier tire may help some too i think.

The offset of the wheel might be what is causing the problem. What is the Offset oh and

x2 your offset is wrong and the wheels are setting to far inside the fender well. you can fix it with a set of wheel spacers

can u just trim up the plastic?

Aw, thats to bad man, yeah, i would say it's definitly the offset. The tire shop you bought them from should have set you up correctly see if you can go back to them and get you a set with the correct offset.

yea i have been told to get spacers, but im just worried the studs wont be long enough with the spacers on, and to the other people, i didnt go to a tire shop to get them to put em on, i bought the rims and tires used and put them on myself, and as for how bad is it rubbing? its not just the plastic, i can cut the plastic but its rubbing hard onto the rear shocks and its just wearing down my tire so much that its causing it to leak pretty quick, i got 2 15's kicker l7 in the back in a probass box, i mean because of the box the truck is sitting level but that wouldnt have anything to do with the rubbing would it?
