I have a 24 Tahoe RST that I’m wanting to put a powered Kicker 12” subwoofer. Kicker 51PTRTP12.

Can somebody tell me exactly where to grab signal at? My truck does not have rear drivers sub but I do have the Bose system with a center console sub. I had a 23 Sierra Denali last year that I done the GM Kicker sub and I tapped the Yellow/Yellow black Bose wires under the passenger door sill pictures in fig 15 below.

Would that work for my Tahoe, or has the wire colors changed. I originally planned on doing a stealth box but didn’t want to take apart all those rear panels and take the chance of breaking stuff lol, that’s why I’m wanting to do the down firing Kicker box

Just trying to find an answer before ordering everything. Here’s the full link showing the directions for the 23 Sierra Denali GM Kicker sub.

Thanks,
DW

on the newer suv's the amp is located in the rear drivers side kick panel, which is easily accessed by removing the panels where the rear fuse box is located and/or the jack storage cover panel. As for the wire color it may or may not be the same.

Newer power amplifiers don't need a signal wire. They sense the signal coming from your preamp through your low level inputs and turn on.
