Those all have the 243 heads?

No. That chart was the first one I came across that listed the L92 and LS3 vehicles. The heads and intake in question are known as "square bore/port" heads. 243s are known as "cathedral port". As far as stock heads go, the 243/799 and 317s are about the best you can get next to the newer square port stuff from the later 6.2 engines. Since they're not cathedral port, switching to these heads requires a matching square port intake manifold. You cant put your current cathedral port intake manifold on the square port heads.

If you sourced a complete take-off L92 intake manifold, you would need an aftermarket cable-driven 90mm TB and injector plug adapters. You'd also have to extend the MAP harness since this sensor is at the front of the intake.

It's really not all that complicated and can be almost completely bolt-on/plug-and-play if you can source the parts. It's a really nice performance upgrade for the money if you can find the stock parts cheap enough.

Yup- those with the 6.2: Escalade, Denali (Yukon and Sierra), some (rare!) Tahoes, some Silverados, Hummer H2. I'd shop for an '07-'14 Escalade or Denali with a blown motor and grab everything off the top of the block including the wire harness, or at least the injector harness.

Only the 6.2?

Yup. That's why it's so big- it's to feed a bigger motor. The factory 90mm TB says it all! Your cammed 6.0 should respond nicely to it. You'll need a retune, of course.

So tempting. Local yard has this. I was thinking about grabbing the fans. Unfortunately none of the harness is available. Also it only has the 5.3.Screenshot_20170428-224546.png
