2500/3500 cooler in a Tahoe

I've seen the threads about the trucool transmission cooler and some of the b&m ones. But I dont plan on lots if any towing with the tahoe, I'd use the silvy for that. But, a little extra cooling cant hurt, right? So has anyone just used a cooler from a 3/4 or 1 ton on their Tahoe/Yukon?

Figured I could just grab one from the pick n pull and it would probably be pretty close to factory mounts.

Andy, I think there was a thread on this very topic within the last 2-3 months here somewhere. I remember that I learned something, not sure what though! Memory isn't what it once was.

Yeah I tried the search, but I got 7 pages of the trucool 40k thread lol.

I really need to get a temp gauge on it and see what it runs. Then, maybe try moving the factory one around... ya know so it's not directly behind the big ass bowtie, Then see what the temp does. I know it was engineered that way, but as a former dealership mechanic and long time maintenance tech I can attest that engineers arent always the brightest.
