ok so im going tom maybe tuesday to put on my rims and tires and it got me thinking i need to finish my lift and im sittin at 5 , super lift says this is a 5 to 6.5 7 possible lift with crank and add aleaf ect... i have the add a leaf the only thing is im wondering how much better i would be with Torsion bars out of a 2500? in theory it would prevent future sag and sturdy up the front end with the added weight , thoughts? suggestions?

Crank the stock keys up for now and save the cash, I know things get a little tight when pissing a ton of money into these things. I wouldn't worry too much about it right now. Ride would be a little stiffer I would think with the 2500 bars. But again, until you need them, why mess with it?

yea thats true i just figured the 2500 might give me more lift dont you think ? less weight on them so they should spring higher.... then again i will suffer with ride quality and i would have to find them in a junkyard so yea i should prolly save that money for regear

if you want to do that youll have to change the t bar bracket for your lift with one for a truck being the 4drs are 52" and trucks are 54" i swaped em and ran that way for a while but bars stuck out of front of control arms too much and i hit a big hole muddin and poped one out. and got it back it and it came out again one day on the road and bent my fender some. thankfully it was a side road it happened!

they were out of a 1500 truck lol guy did a solid axle. for whatever reason gm made the 4dr tahoes with shorter bars. from when i was researching before the swap only 4drs are 52" the 2dr blazers/tahoes, suburbans, trucks are 54"
