2001 Yukon. Auto Ride. Leveling keys/stock rear height. Currently running 265/70/17.

Will I run into any issues going up to a 285 tire??

I frequently tow a boat(5000lbs) and want to avoid any rubbing issues. The truck is my DD and has about 140k on the clock.(Runs perfect)

your speedo will be off and with the extra sidewall you might notice a little wiggle in the rear of your Yukon. also make sure you air the tires up to tow the extra weight. I know when I tow with my Denali my tire PSI is different for towing and daily driving. Also with the 285, is this going on the stock 17" wheels?

You will also most importantly lose power since the larger tire will effectively lower your gear ratio.

Yeah I thought of that as well. I typically drive slow when I tow, so I'm not too concerned about power loss.

The truck has 17" wheels that are not factory, but they are factory offset/backspacing(as far as I know).

Actually like mine better with the 285's. Keeping the tranny out of OD and with 3.73 gears in Tow Mode, it pulls quite well without sending the tach to high. :sunot:
