285 or 265

FYI: My cousin had a TPI Z71 extra cab that he ran 36's with 3.73's. Drove it every day n wheeled the piss out of it. Tho the 36" Super Swampers lasted him barely a year. It was far from ideal but never had any problems.

No, they won't look too small. I'm not sure about the fitting, but i see no reason why 285's wouldn't fit. And the honest truth is as everyone else says: for everyday driving, bigger tires are only for looks. (and they look pretty damn good) Our trucks are so heavy and huge that even a set of bald 265's could get you through a snowstorm or something of the sort.

Where the hell have you been? 3+ weeks and not a peep. No leaks, no drips, no shorts. You reinstall the stolen yet?:)

If your suspension is in good shape and not sagging 285 will fit on 7.5-9in wide rims.
