I think I am pretty much sold on tony's 3/5-6 kit but would like to know how much modifications is going to be needed to run a set of 28's with a 295/25/28 tire? Is it just a matter of more trimming of the wheel well liners?

I saw a truck this weekend with his liners completely taken off... If you where to do this on a set of 28's with a 3/5 drop, will it rub still?

Cant see the picture but my Tahoe is currently 2/3-4. I had 28's on it but recently sold them. I had to cut the fender plastics in the front so it wouldn't rub when I turned.

^^^ how did your truck ride? Any regrets? Did you sell you 28's because of ride quality issues.

Seriously? You wants to put 28's on your ride and are worried about ride quality issues?

I sold the 28's because the tires cost too much to keep replacing and the roads out here aren't all that well to riding on skinny tires. It did ride rough for some reason. No regrets. I like the way it looked but decided to go with a 4/6 drop on 24's. A friend of mine has a Yukon lowered 2/3 on 28's and his rides way better than mine did.
