Plan to order the 2025 Tahoe Premier.

We have a 10 month old infant and was curious if people with littles prefer the Power assisted running boards or the fixed ones?

Also curious about the GM Cat Back Exhaust. Is it worth it? Is it too loud?

My employer qualifies me for the GM supplier discount. On a premier it looks like about $3000-$4000 below msrp. Anyone have experience with that? Things to watch out for?

Can't speak for the little ones but the power assisted running boards have more surface area to step on, so my guess is they work better.

I have the GM cat back exhaust on my Escalade. It's definitely noticeable and sounds great, but isn't overly loud (my wife has a tahoe without it and there's definitely a difference).

Supplier discount is around 5-6% off I believe. Process is the same except you usually have to provide a number from your employer proving you qualify for it

Had power assist running boards on our last Expedition and didnt like them...but we live on a gravel road out in a rural part of the county. Dirt is not a friend of power running boards. If yours will be a pavement princess then you will probably be fine. I ordered a 25 Tahoe Z71 2 months ago and the dealer still hasn't gotten an allocation yet. My first GM order and the process doesnt seem to work as well as Fords. Hopefully yours gets accepted quicker than mine has.

Good to know! We have a large paved driveway and won’t be doing much if any off-road. Just snow in the winter time. Not sure if it’s accurate, but the dealer said if we order now it would be available just after the 1st of the year.

If the dealer has allocations available or coming up soon the first of the year sounds reasonable. Other dealers around me have 25 models on the lot but the dealer i ordered from hasnt received their first allocation yet. Oddly enough they have already received 2 25 model yukons that are sitting on the lot. Cant even build and price those yet online and they werent customer orders. Hard to fathom why GM would allocate 2 Yukons but not an already sold Tahoe.

Make certain the vehicle comes with Apple CarPlay. Some GM models do not. You might not care, but the person you sell the vehicle to later will.
