I have a 2006 GMC Yukon with Bose and OnStar. I have some rear panel speakers look like tweets but I want to run some 3.5's back there. I want to know if any one have some pics of that set up , looking for some install ideas and tips.

Yes behind the 3rd row
sorry for the caps, but I myself have not tried that, only because you dont have alot of room for it, there would be interference from the size of the speaker and backing material, unless you got cutting.

I read in one of these forums some of the guys put 3.5 inch speakers back there. Wanted to see how it looked, and how they mounted the speakers.

I saw someone put 3.5" back there, but they cut the stock speaker grill out, and mounted the new speaker on the outside plastic with the new speaker grill... looked completely out of place.

So I found these speaker pods online just now. I would paint then to match the interior. What do you think?

As far as drivers sound experience those are useless... now if you have people in the 3rd row alot then sure

i agree. most sound quality comp systems don't even have rear speakers, just really nice ones up front in the right spot. i don't mind them for fill (and rear passengers).
