I just priced out swapping 3.73s in mine(2wd) and its going to run about $7-800 installed depending on the gears(priced with Yukon gears/install kit, and $350 labor) I'm still debating it, but I really hate the 3.08s, terrible:(

You can save a little going with cheaper gears, but from what everyone has recommended don't skimp on them, go with Yukon or Motive.

Price it out from ringpinion.com then just need a shop for the labor.

for the front I'd need
http://www.yukongear.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=8390
and i think I'd need to get the rear gears from the dealer because the yukon gears dont have abs provisions.

currently on the phone with a gear and axle shop and he is talking about all aftermarket gears make noise!
So that is a no go!
He is quoting me OE gears and case and it is much cheaper than I predicted Ill post the prices in the original post for others who may want to do something similar and have no experience in the field like me!

He said $275 install for each axle.
He said which idk if this is right because it isnt what I've heard but that Id need to replace the rear carrier but not the front.
basically it would run a person about $1,500 which is way cheaper than I had heard it would be so I hope this information helps people out!

YOu shouldn't have too Replace the entire Front Dif to change the gear ratio, ESP going to 3.73 You SHOULD be able to just swap gears without going that route. x2 on the Yukon gear an axle they make good stuff

A 3.73 is a factory option. Should go onto the standard case
