The 285s look taller and ride considerably better. I did add wheel spacers to my current truck to widen the stance, but on my 07 Denali they looked perfect. The 33s were wider but I was looking for more sidewall and not so much on the width. MPGs were basically the same. I never tracked it but I could get ~300 miles to a tank.@02Burgundybeast- Is there a reason you prefer the 285's over the 33's? Could you tell the 1/2" difference by looking at the tire?
Check this link out https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=285-55r20-285-55r22@02Burgundybeast- Great, thanks for the solid feedback! Sounds like the 285's are the better deal as they are slightly cheaper than the 33's as well.
Thanks again!
