30,000 Mile service

I've seen trucks run for 200,000+ miles and never touched the trans. I have also seen them run for 30,000 miles then change the fluid and start having problems. I have never been one to touch the trans. unless I have to. Just check your fluid, if it doesn't look or smell burned up then it is fine. You have to approach engine oil and trans. fluid completely different. You don't want to change it just to change it IMO

lol of course i didnt get it done yet~.
I knew the price was way too much and im not that naive to get whatever service the dealership throws on me.
I just wanted to know what everyone else thought about it. To be honest though i was tempted to have it done , just because i love my car soo damn much. I want to pamper my lady with everything i can throw on her.

as with the injector clean, is it necessary to clean my injectors at less than 30k?

ohh and they justified the high price of $215 by saying they use the right stuff. they also said that they've seen many people come in with problems getting their vehicle serviced at private shops.
ANyways the place that offered me this was RICK HENDRICK CHEVROLET. also the place i bought my car.

Oh I thought you got it done already!
But an injector service will most likely not even be needed if you run the normal injector cleaners and good gas. Tell them to miss you with that "private shop" stuff, they are just saying that to try and lure you. Just like they have heard of private shops and problems, I have heard of numerous complaints about actual dealership services and complaints.
