Ummmm, don't be so sure about that. For as much as I like my new toys (efans, underdrive pulleys, and BB Tune. I can smoke most anything else out there.), yesterday I came across this young kid test driving an 2011 Honda Accord 2DR coupe V6. We had been chasing each other on the Hwy for 20mins coming into town. So it happens that we both pull up side by side at the first red light we hit. We look at each other. I figure that I'm gonna teach this little f*ucker a lesson. So the light turns green, and I go WOT. I look over, can't see him. Cool! I thought. Then he shifts from 2 to 3. I'm still WOT, by this time I'm at ~60kph. He blows by me like I'm standing still! By the time I even got to the next red light, he had already braked and was almost stopped.
I thought, WTF was that all about! A stock Honda blew the doors off me. Not a little bit faster, but holy sh*t, was I even trying? faster. I figure that I only had him off the line because he may have blew the 1-2 shift.
This kid couldn't have been anywhere past 17, hat on backwards and all, and he had the biggest grin on his face. A friggen stock Honda... What if the kid buys it and decides to spend some money on it? I don't even want to think about it. Makes me even madder that I only got the 350, not the 383... sigh...
