3inch keys

[That2000escalade]

Im attempting to put 3inch keys on my 2000 Escalade already have rough country shocks and extended uca’s but cant put the keys in do to the uca hittin the bump stops but i was told that cuttin them I wouldn’t be able to jack the truck up

Is this tru or can i just cut em and be fine?
