I have an issue with the 60 side of my 2019 Suburban power rear seats. The pulley pulls the cable to unlock/unlatch the seat, but one of the plastic arms that holds the cable is broken. It looks like the whole seat frame might need to be purchased but I’m hoping there’s another solution.

I was able to move the latch with a screwdriver to lower the seat.

That latch only releases the lock. If I were you I’d try to fix it with a zip tie or something. It may work.

I might have to try that as I can’t find a part number for the plastic arm. I think the whole seat frame has to be replaced for that one part.

If anyone else has figured out what works best, I’m all ears!

Hello. I i’m currently going through the same situation for 60 portion of the 3rd row seat. Its stuck in the down position and I could see and hear the motor trying to move but it’s not releasing. I also see both the cables slightly move, but no dice. Did you figure out exactly what was wrong with it and do you know the part number for that actuator that releases the seat? I did manage to pull on the black tabs that hold the 2 wires and the seat released about 5 inches with so now it’s stuck at an angle. Next I will be removing the rear storage box to get a better angle on those tabs so I can at least get the seat upright for now.

I had been experiencing intermittent problems with this seat, not wanting to go up or down, every so often in the past few years now it just don’t come back up.
Hello, I have the exact same issue and behavior. The 60 portion of the 3rd row seat is stuck in the down position in my Chevrolet Tahoe 2016 too. I can see and hear the motor trying to move, and cables slightly moving. I have manually forced and lifted the back from down to 5-10 degrees angle by pulling the 2 black tabs. Forcing more the back seat I'm worried I'm going to damage something else considering now it's very hard and stuck the same way you are experiencing. I was able to remove completely the cover leather and foam. The back seat foam got broken during the removal process (I'm not happy about that but I will glue it back or buy a new one if I can find it cheap). Now I can see the actuator with cables. I took few pictures and now trying to figure out the part number. Any help with the part number and website where I can buy it?

Here is the picture of the actuator. Which one is the part number?

Suggest posting the last 8 of your VIN and asking @915_Tahoe for the current part number.

You could also take a look at this part, but I don't have an overall view of the part you're looking for or know if it would be for the correct side. Click the link and look at the part, then start that search over with your VIN and see if the part you're looking for is listed.
