Anyone find a solution to this not folding problem?

None of my seats worked when I bought my Escalade. I cleaned and then heavily greased them. I worked the grease into every joint. It made them work easily. This is also something you should do on your door hardware. Get a grease gun and some cue tips and go crazy.

I have to cycle my lever while lifting up in the seat.

Mine actually won't fold down for removal its like the inner hinge on the passenger side is not engaging allowing it to fold down. I read somewhere that you need too drill a hole in the rear panel of seat to access a cable that comes loose . I Ann willing to try but would like some details as to where to drill
